Our Story

MP Guitars is a family business born out of a passion for guitars and making things. We are makers at heart who love to see the things that we create go on to create beautiful music of their own. We pour a lot of ourselves into the instruments we create and to see them well loved by the players who put their faith in us is the most rewarding part of this entrepreneurial journey.

Our design style is one of playful exploration. We pull inspiration from a wealth of varied sources. From historical folk instruments from all around the world, like Hurdy Gurdy's and Chinese Pipa's to post modern minimalism or even the retro-futuristic aesthetic of the Jetsons. Ultimately, we try to question the accepted normality of the guitar space and create our own unique flavor; forge our own path and leave our own mark on the guitar world.
